We are a National Specialty Pharmacy with more than twelve years of history serving the needs of members. Our Mission is to provide specialty pharmacy services to individuals with chronic conditions taking multiple medications, and the clinicians who serve them. We serve thousands enrolled members throughout the country and fill all member pharmacy needs with a special focus on the needs of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Behavioral Health members.
Our original pharmacy was founded more than 14 years ago, in a small farming community called Evans City, north of Pittsburgh, PA. The founder, was involved in a research project studying patients with HCV. Many of these patients struggled to gain access to healthcare. He and his family started a pharmacy on the family farm, in a converted chicken coop, to help take care of these patients. Every day, they would deliver needed medications to these patients all over the Pittsburgh area.
The pharmacy gained a loyal following. Because of the focus on HCV, the pharmacy staff became expert in not only the treatment of HCV, but of commonly related conditions. Many of these patients had coinfections of HIV and an almost equal number had multiple diagnosed behavioral health conditions. We have never forgotten our roots. Today, we continue to focus on the needs of patients with multiple chronic conditions.
Mr. Nelson has a long history of entrepreneurship and in managing high growth companies. He is a founder of PharmBlue Holdings LLC, created to acquire and build excellence in pharmacy and related services. He is CEO of PharmBlue LLC and RX Blue Star Solutions LLC, both wholly-owned by PharmBlue Holdings. He is Founder and CEO of Redwind Innovations LLC, an advisory firm focused on technology-based innovation and early stage investing.
Ms. Beaudin is the Chief Financial Officer of PharmBlue. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Foundation Radiology Group, a multi-state professional radiology services organization serving community hospitals.
Ms. Beaudin also served as Vice President of Finance for Specialty Pharmacy at Walgreen Co. In that capacity, Ms. Beaudin was responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and analysis, pricing strategy and compliance, contracting, reimbursement and coordinating mergers and acquisitions for the Specialty Pharmacy Division. Previously, she was Chief Financial Officer of Medmark Inc., which was acquired by Walgreens in 2006 to become the platform company of Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy Division. Medmark was formed in 2003, and Ms. Beaudin was responsible for cash management, developing and implementing reimbursement, accounting and finance policies and procedures, as well as overseeing the human resource functions. Before coming to Medmark, she was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Ventures, Inc., a Highmark Company. While there, Ms. Beaudin engaged in turnaround activities including renegotiating employment and affiliation agreements affecting over one hundred physicians and 500 staff.
She earned a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from the California State University at Long Beach. She was selected as a finalist for the Pittsburgh Business Times “CFO of the Year” Award in 2010 and 2006.
Louis E. Dell'Olio
Vice President and Managing Pharmacist
Mr. Dell’Olio previously served as the Director of Contract Management for Integrated Pharmacy Solutions. In the position, he provided oversight management to multiple accounts and projects, including 340B health center and community retail pharmacy programs.
Prior to serving in the position, he served as the Executive Director for the State Office of Pharmacy Services. Under his leadership, over 24,000 patients across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts received comprehensive pharmacy services. Prior to that he was Pharmacy Director, Mental Health Department, Worcester State Hospital.
Mr. Dell’Olio has over 35 years of experience in the health care industry specializing in managerial, administrative and operations within the area of pharmacy practice and administration. His background also includes Director of a Psycho-Geriatric & Special Needs Program, Director of Ancillary Medical and Support Services, Director of Hospital Pharmacy. Louis has experience in acute and long term care pharmacy operations, mail-order pharmacy programs, clinical pharmacy services and 340B program implementation. He is also experienced in JCAHO, Title XIX and URAC compliance
Louis graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Services with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and has completed a Masters in Business Administration.
Prior to joining PharmBlue, Joe spent almost 20 years in private law firm practice, focusing on business and corporate litigation, financial services litigation and healthcare litigation in federal and state courts and arbitrations. He also represented clients in internal investigations, responding to various federal and state regulatory inquiries, and defending against class action lawsuits.
In addition to providing legal and risk management advice, he frequently connected clients with other professional services providers for accounting, investment, financing, governmental relations, marketing and public relations purposes.
During his career in private legal practice, Joe served two 6 month “secondments”—acting as dedicated in-house counsel to clients for sixth month periods—one for Bank of America’s Global Wealth and Investment Management (“GWIM”) group, handling pre-litigation customer complaints, regulatory inquires and internal investigations for Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust, and one for the PNC Financial Services, Inc.’s government and regulatory enforcement group, assisting with internal and regulatory investigations across various lines of PNC’s business.
Joe earned a B.A. in Economics and Computer Applications, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He was selected for Phi Beta Kappa at Notre Dame, and was named to the Order of the Coif and the Law Review at Pitt Law. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and before all courts of Commonwealth, as well as the United Stated District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Joe is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Director of Strategy & Innovation
Mike is passionate about innovation and value creation for customers as well as investors. He has over 25 years of sales, marketing and business leadership experience in both managing turn arounds and in high growth companies. In his current role, he is responsible for identifying opportunities and creating new business platforms for PharmBlue. This includes understanding customer needs and delivering products and services that are complimentary to the core pharmacy business. Prior to PharmBlue, Mike led the First Aid & Safety business for Acme United Corporation. Through a series of acquisitions and new product launches he tripled the size of the business in five years. The business was consolidated under the First Aid Only Brand creating the number three brand in a one-billion-dollar category.
Mike earned his B.S. in marketing, cum laude, from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and his M.B.A. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

For the last ten years, Gabriel has worked in the specialty pharmacy services space with behavioral health, FQHC, ASO, and primary care organizations. He values spending time with the executives, all the way down to the front-line care providers, in order to understand their needs and how to best provide services to both their staff and their clients.
During his career, he has placed more than one hundred programs around the country. He is proud to say that all those programs are still active today. Gabriel’s passion is visiting healthcare facilities, learning everything he can about their needs, and then proposing the program that provides the maximum benefit to the clients and staff. He has developed some truly great clients, as well as life-long friendships, over the years. He would love to add you to the list of organizations he has helped.

Marcia DelBarone represents the Northeast/Southeast regions for PharmBlue. Marcia’s focus is building strong sales teams and further developing verticals.
She has over 35 years of experience in executive leadership in the medical industry with a focus on infectious disease, oncology and managed care.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Rhode Island College, with a focus on Nursing and Public Health Administration. She attended Salve Regina University, where she obtained a Masters in Health Administration.

Javier is passionate about helping individuals with chronic illnesses improve their quality of life and decrease their anxiety about taking medication with Pharmblue’s medication adherence programs. He has over 15 years of professional sales experience, including management. He is a proven leader in banking, project management, and IT staffing. He works in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, covering 9 different states. He goes the extra mile to learn about his client’s needs in order to provide the best value and fit. Javier’s zest for life and vibrant personality have forged many positive relationships for PharmBlue and in his personal life. He has been married for 16 years and is currently raising 3 beautiful children with his spouse. Shelby Wells is based out of Birmingham, AL with the responsibility to cover five states; Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Shelby joined PharmBlue in July 2016 after graduating from the University of Alabama with a BA in Business Management with a specialization in sales. Shelby has a unique drive to grow business and is passionate about the great relationships she makes with clients, which she has demonstrated early in her career at PharmBlue LLC.

Westin graduated from the Business school at University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in December of 2016. His major was Marketing and he had an extensive focus on sales inside and outside of the classroom. Westin is based out of Boston, Massachusetts, but will also cover Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York. He is extremely motivated and will go above and beyond to help our current clients and portray Pharmblue’s extraordinary services to capture new ones.
Anna received her degree from LECOM School of Pharmacy. She has worked in pharmacy for 5 years. Her previous experience includes hospital and long term care.
Tricia Edwards received her Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona. She has worked in pharmacy for more than eighteen years. Previously, she worked in the hospital setting, remote verification, and retail settings such as Walgreen’s and CVS.
Megan received her PharmD from the University of Rhode Island. She has worked in pharmacy for 10 years. Her previous experience includes retail pharmacy CVS Health and ambulatory care at the University of Rhode Island Health Services Pharmacy.

Kelsey Linn received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University. She has worked in pharmacy for 10 years. Her previous experience includes pharmacy internships at CVS/Pharmacy and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She also serves as a preceptor to pharmacy students.

Patrick Minard received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked in pharmacy for 27 years. His previous experience includes serving as a Pharmacy Manager for Walmart Stores Inc. for 23 years.
Jeff Retter received his PharmD from the University of Hawaii College of Pharmacy. He has worked in pharmacy for 4 years. Previously, he worked at Safeway Pharmacy and Omnicare LTC Pharmacy.
Clinton Sanders received his Pharmacy Doctorate from University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy. His previous experience includes more than 10 years of managing retail chain pharmacies.

Edward Szczypiorski received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University. He has worked in retail, mail order, and specialty pharmacy as a licensed pharmacist for 11 years
Hilary A. Szczypiorski received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She has worked in pharmacy for 11 years. Her previous experience includes retail and long term care pharmacy.
Cathy Vance received her PharmD from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She has worked in pharmacy for 12 years with previous experience in retail pharmacy.

Amanda Williford received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the Campbell University School of Pharmacy in North Carolina. She has worked in pharmacy for 12 years. Previously, she worked at Kroger Pharmacy as a Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager and at CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Manager, Preceptor and Supervisor.
Bobby Clay received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Houston. Bobby has served in various leadership roles within multiple community pharmacy organizations. His previous experience includes serving as Director of Pharmacy for a 6,000 bed correctional complex.
